La Stafetta

It’s easier to run in a team – La Stafetta allows team members to split the 55km route of La Diagonela into fours and thus complete the route together. The sections are between 10 and 20km per person.

Start blocks

The allocation to the starting blocks will be made according to the self-assessment of the participants. The race director will decide on starting places in the elite. The following starting blocks are available:

09.03 a.m., Starting block 1

Expected race time under 4 hours

09.06 a.m., Starting block 2

Expected race time between 4 and 5 hours

09.09 a.m., Starting block 3

Estimated race time over 5 hours

Team composition

Team of 4, No male or female quota. Ranking: 1 Category

Relay

The team receives a timing chip on their foot. This is handed over to the next runner in the transition zones.

Course sections La Stafetta:

  • Pontresina – St. Moritz (approx. 13.6 km)
  • St. Moritz – Pontresina (approx. 12.0 km)
  • Pontresina – Zuoz (17.9 km)
  • Zuoz – Zuoz (10.5 km)

The teams organise themselves among themselves for carrying the effects things.
